Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakami-tachi or Okami-san & Her Seven Companions is a really funny and entertaining show. The way they integrate the fairy tales into the story is rather interesting and the fact that Okami-san uses kitty boxing gloves to fight her enemies is soo freaking hilarious, just because her gloves make this "meow" sound every time she punches somebody. The only problem is that the show just kinda ends with noe real ending, which is quite unfortunate because the show has some real promise. I hear rumors of a 2nd season so that's probably why the show ended like it did. So if you're looking for something to kill some time that's funny and entertaining then I recommend this show to ya :) (show less)

Awesome series as a whole, very enjoyable and extremely entertaining. I loved how the series started with the whole chase thing. But there is ONE Fatal flaw in this anime just ONE the BLOODY NARRATOR, she is such a pain honestly its super frustrating to this moment her voice is ringing in my head and she is everywhere there is not a single episode with out her, she totally spoils EVERYTHING granted she can add a little extra humor here and there but there is a limit like they should have let her loose at episode 1, the reason why I dis like her is simple she adds too much confusion when the Main characters are having a conversation she adds her 2 cents worth and your following 2 people talking at the same time this is insanely annoying. The series though has no particular end to it but its quite short I loved how they were able to add a good fight scene with that bum honestly that was one of my favorite scenes in the anime it reminded me a little of kenichi. Its not about fighting though the series is a comedy with a little romance but enjoyable. (show less)

At first I didn't think much of Ookami-san, mainly because I thought the narration was annoying but after a while I came to understand the 'hidden' fairy tales were this series biggest charm.

Most of the episodes are based on some sort of fairy tale, myth or legend. Once I realized this, I started to wonder who each character really was. It was kind of nostalgic to see all of the characters I knew as a kid get a second life.
On top of that Ookami-san as a whole has a pretty good story as well.

The conversations aren't that outstanding. The main character repeats himself a couple of times and the comedy isn't the best I've seen.

Nothing wrong with the animation (or at least I can't see anything).

I needed some time to learn to appreciate this anime but once I did, even the narration fitted perfectly. (show less)
