In this era of chef reality shows, it's sometimes easy to forget that there are those who cook simply for the love of food and cooking. Ristorante Paradiso is built around just such a place.
Although the primary storyline belongs to Nicoletta, who has arrived to confront the mother who left her years ago, there are plenty of forays into the lives of the rest of the staff. Each story is surprisingly well-told for such a short series.
There are romantic subplots, but each one is handled in an honorable fashion. Anyone from teenage forward ( read more)
