The story is about the 6 heroes that are chosen by the Gods to defeat a demon when it is revived. The only problem is the mark of the 6 heroes is one seven heroes? The first season is about how the heroes come together and then solve the mystery of why there are seven instead of six. Some of the heroes are saints with special powers, one is a normal person that has trained his whole like for defeating the demon (pretty much the main protagonist), one is a Princess who also happens to be the Saint of Swords, and one is a very talented Guard who is very strong and will follow the Princess to the gates of hell to protect her, and the final one is an assassin with a very odd catlike fighting style. There is much in fighting as they try and resolve the issue of who the fake is. The more you watch the more it pulls you in. The first season leaves you wanting more. (show less)

I stumbled upon this anime by an off chance and man oh man has it got me hooked. I am now waiting for the count down every week for the release of the new episodes! The characters all have great depth and dialogue, the mystery keeps you in suspense and sometimes you have to re-watch parts as this anime is such a riddle. Really well done artistry (although the monsters/demons look like they are done with a different art reference). I hope that there will be a season 2 as although it has been a very entertaining watch, I believe they have spent a bit too much time on the current arc...and with it only being a 13 episode series, they will probably run out of time...However great detail has been put into this master piece and the story line runs at a swift pace so never boring!!
