conclusion: quite honestly, if i had seen this before i wrote my review for highschool of the dead, i think i would even have been able to give hotd a better rating. that one went overboard with the fanservice, but it's nothing compared to seikon no qwaser. seikon is without a doubt -the- non-hentai series coming closest to full-blown erotica. now i'm all for eye candy, but this boatload of fanservice simply drowns the story, and some parts are twisted like hell (milking underage girls? wth?? that's not even entertaining anymore, that's simply sickening).
the concept of being able to control iron is great, not exactly new (think about quartz in break blade), but it certainly would work out with the ecchi aspect lessened. the graphics in themselves are great, the character design is fine so far, and the mc would be interesting if they'd done the whole breast-milk thing differently (why are there devices that help the woman pump out (?) her milk so she can leave the baby to e.g. the rest of her family for a few hours? but no, ofc such things are unknown in this universe. =.=)
sense of my rant? a potentially good action/adventure series, but most of the potential just drowns in over-hyped 'ecchi'. if you don't mind near-hentai where it should be action, go ahead, you might love it. to me, this looks just too frivolous for its own good.

This is by far one of the best ecchi animes ever. It far exceeded my expectations for not only the fanservice but also the story. The shounen style of the anime and the action will keep anyone's attention. The art style is amazing and quite beautiful. Every episode will keep you on the edge of your seat with either horror, suspense, action, comedy, or hotness. Also, there is a character for every person. Katja is by far my favorite with her evil dominatrix side mask by cute loliness. Sasha is badass but also level headed. Tomo is just plain cute and sweet. And Mafuyu is an average girl anyone can relate to. This pones all other ecchis including Queen's Blade. However, I will warn you that the second season was disappointing since it was all fanservice and no plot what-so-ever. Please watch, you might be amazingly and pleasantly surprised. (show less)
