Its a short and easy anime to follow. Probably not a well known anime or incredibly amazing but none the less was a pretty good anime.
The jumble of characters creates a light hearted and funny atmosphere but still provides some of seriousness and dark aura to it. The voices both English and Japanese do suit the characters. Though personally I prefer the Japanese cast to the English(not sure if anime-access has the anime in English but I have seen a snippet of the the English version on a different website)
The length of the anime is short but this doesn't mean a rushed ending as the frequent cast is a small group and the audience is given enough time to get to know the characters and at times sympathise with them.

It is a good anime of comedy and action. There is adventure however most of the scenarios are a bit cliched or predictable. For anyone who like lighthearted adventure anime and doesn't mind the cliche/predictability (like myself) then this is anime is for you. (show less)

There are shows that are memorable, whether because they are good or bad. Then there are shows that are average and don't inspire any strong feelings. World Destruction, or Sands of Destruction, is the latter. Nothing in this series is new, nothing is particularly exciting, and nothing is surprising. Any "twists" can be seen coming from a mile away, and you will never cry out in anger or sadness or happiness. At the same time, the show isn't bad to look at, it doesn't take the viewer for a complete idiot, and it isn't so boring that it's a pain to get through an episode.

It's a series that doesn't stand out, in a positive or negative light. It's not really a waste of time, but it's not really a good way to spend your time either. It's firmly in the middle. (show less)

Well...having watched this at least two years ago, and then rewatching it again recently after playing the game...I still have to say that I deeply dislike Morte. Sure she's a strong willed character but I just find that she doesn't have very redeeming qualities...I mean, how can you justify wanting to destroy the world, ultimately killing EVERYBODY, because your dear little brother died? I mean...I sympathize but really....and then dragging complete strangers with her only to in the end be all, "oh...don't destroy the world because I love you all of a sudden!"

I found the game's story to be FAR better even though I disliked Morte in the game too BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT!

Ultimately, it's not a bad series, not the best, but still not bad either. The ending just plain sucked....but that's really about it. (show less)
