I have heard a lot of controversy on Boku no Pico since moving to North America, and since most people tend to down rate something they don't like without watching it, i gave it a shot. To start this off, the title literally means "My Pico" a very uncreative title, and I have since regretted wasting an hour of my life that i will never get back again, Aside from the horrible nonexistent story plot and Pico continuously gasping and moaning like a bitch with a vibrator up her snatch every chance he gets, ....Wait i can't think of any good points to counter that........The sex scenes have been the down fall of this anime. As it is true underage sex with a minor (Statutory rape) and i don't think it is except-able in either Japan or North America. Those of you who do watch it and enjoy it should have their heads checked and further more Boku no Pico should follow the same path as the Horrific raping game "Rapelay" If you like Yaoi or Boys love, Then i Recommend Free! or Love Stage!! I'm gonna go against the norm here and rate this based on my opinion of it, not on my opinion of shotacon or cross generational relationships.

That being said, it was just bad. There was virtually no plot, and what sort of plot there was was stupid, predictable, and not creative at all. The characterization didn't make much sense; the main character, Pico, was introduced as a ridiculously feminine (to the point of transgendered) prepubescent boy and had no noticeable friends or family-none of this explained in any way. And even if you're into this sort of thing, the sex scenes sucked; Pico unrealistically moaned like a girl every opportunity you could even think possible and the things they did were very....unusual, to say the least.

The one thing that was at least decent was the animation, and even that's hindered by no existing non-censored version.

Overall, this just sucked. Don't watch it.

And if you think cross generational relationships is wrong, then OF COURSE don't watch this. It's kind of frustrating seeing all these people giving it bad ratings (even though it deserves them) because they think it's gross. What if a straight porno was rated terribly because a bunch of homosexuals gave it one star because they're grossed out by it? Is that right? (show less)
